Okay, maybe I haven’t farmed this much in ages. Seriously, the Bonus Fractal Event managed to stay super popular even though it had only 14 days left. When we hit week 3 of the event, players who tracked every single quest and completed all achievements finally got their Legendary hand armor yesterday. Everyone’s happy… and then…

What’s this?! Legendary item but… stats didn’t change?! Wait, what kind of legendary item is this? Bug? Glitch? Streets of Lion’s Arch started buzzing with chaos. Thankfully, the ArenaNet team noticed it immediately and fixed it the same evening.

And on top of that, they added some colorful infusions you can grab for 10 gold + 30 globs. BUT heads up: the stones only work if you attach them to the Legend hand armor from the event. Put them on some random ascended or other item… and… oops, no color effects for you. So yeah, watch out for that!

Oh, and check this out – for leveling up your account, all the GEM store items are only 1500 GEM each. Super cheap if you ignore the 20-slot bag. Expanding Material Storage, Bank Storage, Bag Slots, and Shared Inventory individually would cost 2.6K GEM. The game is being generous here, so don’t sleep on it – my personal advice!

What’s coming in October?

Ha ha ha ha, Your MAD King says :D The Mad King event is almost here! When the Bonus Fractal ends, both the Mad King event and new specs for the end of October will drop. Sure, Vision of Eternity DLC (with new story and map content) is expected in January, but the specs are hitting players at the end of October.

I can almost hear the rumors in Lion’s Arch streets. Did you hear them too? So, we got the Legend hand armor from this event… Will Mad King drop another piece of the set? Or are we going to spend the entire month running the Mad King labyrinth morning to night for Legendary shoulders?
